Finally...a bargain!

EntrePaducah is the Paducah-McCracken County office of the State of Kentucky's "Innovation and Commercialization (ICC)" inititative. As a partner of the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation (who administers the ICC statewide), we have the latest info on small business support for technology-driven businesses.

In an effort to help all businesses in Kentucky (not just tech-driven), the KSTC has arranged a bargain for entrepreneurs needing help with the start-up tasks of opening their businesses.
It's called the "StartUpSlam" and it's set for October 30th, 2009 at the Louisville Science Museum in Louisville.

Here's the agenda (all times EASTERN):
10:00: Sign-in and coffee

10:00 - 3:00 Meet with an attorney who will (1) establish an LLC for your business and (2) register your business online with the Secretary of State

Meet with ISOC.net to register a domain name and set up an email account

Attend short seminars and Network with fellow entrepreneurs

:00 – 9:30 What business are you in?
10:00 – 10:30 How do you market and sell your product?
11:00 – 11:30 How do you forecast your revenue and expenses?
12:00 – 12:30 When do you pitch to investors?

You will receive all presentations and a blank financial model on a CD

12:30 – 1:00 Lunch (provided)
