"Geek's Night Out" talks Data Backup...

One year ago, our area was in the midst of one of the most costly, disruptive natural disasters in the region’s history. With ice covering hundreds of miles of data transmission lines, communication was halted at best, and in some cases data files were corrupted to the point of non-recovery.
Tuesday night, the quarterly “Geek’s Night Out” program speaker will discuss the importance of, and methods of data backup. John Truitt, President of Kalleo Technologies in Paducah, will share the latest technology affecting data backup and recovery.
“Geek’s Night Out” is scheduled for Tuesday evening February 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Red Lobster Restaurant in Paducah. Complimentary refreshments will be served prior to the meeting. The program is free and is open to all area IT Professionals.
The program is sponsored by Murray State University’s POINT (Professional Organization of Information Network Technology) and EntrePaducah.
Because of impending winter weather conditions, you may confirm whether the meeting will be held as scheduled by checking the this Blogspot.
